Here is what I created with this color combination:
I ended up using a little green for the background, but the real star is the teal on the color file I think. I liked combining my own painting with the watercolored Amy Tangerine paper. I also had fun shading the letter stickers. I went back over them with a white pen to make the letters stand out more. Of course I couldn't resist adding on some sequins at the end.
Oh yeah, I trimmed down the top photo so it lost it's white border. I painted one back on with opaque white mister huey. It's not perfect, but I think it has a neat beachy effect.
Supplies: Amy Tangerine Viridian vignette paper, color magic memory files, color magic alpha stickers, white foam thickers (I feel like I use these on everything now), sketchbook fabric stickers and flyers, sequins ripped off of this ribbon and martha stewart journaling stickers. I used these inks together on the color magic stuff using a paper towel to blend where needed. I used coltfoot yellow, cold ice, blossom tree, rose bud and blue jay.
Don't forget to play along the challenge, it can be anything you want - a layout, card, or other project. I can't wait to see what you create!

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty color combo and you used it well!!
Wow - this layout just pops with color. And your photos have enough color that they still pop on their own even with the colorful background. Great job balancing it all. This is a fun palette!
