December Daily | Day 6

I finally had a quiet day around here!  Ryan took the kids all morning and I only told one story for the day.  Perfect.

Cookies are always an important story to tell.  I also finally added a title to a spread.

I used a mini pack of gold thickers and ran out of Os.  I really like the heart here in it's stead.  The gold tab stickers are also from the Anthropologie catalog (again).  I let them curl up at the edges on purpose.  I added a strip of chevron screen printed transparency underneath the title strip.

I used a journaling card that was missing a bit off the top so I pasted some of my favorite patterned paper from 2013 I believe?  In the end I covered that up with a layer of constellation patterned vellum.  Another all time favorite.  I am down to very little scraps of it but I'm not throwing them away.  It's funny how these two well hoarded pieces came together and look even better that way I think.

I stitched the vellum in place with some red thread.  Nandini helped me put pop dots on the little green sticker to title the card with.  I added a little stamping underneath just to offset my handwriting a bit.

The facing page is more photos from our Saturday adventures.  This time in the evening at the Downtown Stroll and Capital Tree Lighting.

I like how all the different layers looking showing through.
