Project Life: A smallish nap or two.

This week: The baby's three week birthday.  Lots of cuddles and snuggles, naps and baths.  We took the kids to the museum for maybe thirty minutes but they loved it anyway.
Graphically I just love how this week turned out for me as well.  There is lots of white space but somehow lots of photos and lots of color too.  I kept the embellishments pretty minimal except for the use of flair. I used some letterpress cards from a kit by KP and I edged them in pink.  I just love the subtle touch of neon it adds.  I also did some pattern making with stamps on a die cut card.  Just repeated one stamp over and over in different colors.  The see through elements are just one transparent card on each page.

First Side: When I saw the donut flair from KP I knew I had to get it into my PL album immediately.  I interspersed the very colorful photos with white journaling cards.  Two from the midnight kit and one from KP.  The transparency is from the SC Wanderlust collection, cut in half with two Lemon Lush gilded leaves stapled on.  I also used a couple of old Ormolu family flair on these spreads.

Second Side: Oh how I love this block of photos.  The bath picture was taken at night so I converted it to black and white.  I like the mix of color photos with it anyway.  I journaled all around the photo (using a PL pen in this case, they are just a little bit thicker than my normal ultra thin black sharpie).  I also had to include a quote from Winnie the Pooh about naps.  Oh, how I love naps.

You can see all of my Project Life pages here.  This is my third year of doing Project Life and I love this method of memory keeping for our family.  The PL kits I am using generally are the Studio Calico kit, and Midnight kit, with mostly Design A pages this year. I am linked up with the Mom Creative this week.

Now it is your turn!  Add your link back to your Project Life pages here and try to visit and leave comments for each other as well.  Grab a button if you'd like, or just pin it to your favorite scrappy pinterest board, anything works!  Thanks to everyone who linked up last time!  I will be holding a regular weekly link up from now on.
