A quick tour

A quick tour of my living room would probably tell you that I should find a better way to store all of my scrapbooking material and that vacuuming has an extremely short half-life around here so why bother?  But, that's okay because these flowers are making me oh so happy right now.

I had them in the kitchen at first, but moved them to the living room to take a picture.  The kids were napping so I dared to leave a container of liquid out on a surface less than six feet high like the coffee table.  I then realized I could move stuff into one big pile on my desk and put them on it. There they happily sit still.

You asked for more pictures, so here they are (don't say I didn't warn you):
Flowers on my desk, which is a perpetual mess of stickers, papers, stamps, get the idea.

The concrete column I use to hang up all those school projects.

We tried to do the whole rainbow book shelf thing.

Aaaand, the rest.  Paper scraps, toys, laptops, pillows all over the place.  Thanks for stopping by everyone.

  6. Fresh flowers at home are awesome! I found you through Smitha Katti's blog, and am cursing you right now :) because you blogged about the Martha Stewart Home Office stuff at Staples, which meant that I had to go out TODAY and get some. I am now $50 poorer. So, thanks for that ;) Love your blog.

  7. I wanna see more! From the little I can see in the background I think we would be friends...and because I too put flowers out during nap time ;) beautiful.

  8. Very pretty flowers!!
    Happy Weekend to you!
