I was so excited when I got the chance to work with Pampers and CVS on this post over the holidays. Pampers has always been the number one choice for our babies. With at least one child in diapers constantly for the past five+ years I always try to be careful and keep Pampers in stock.
I have written about this before, but Pampers (she wears Baby Dry) work the best for us at preventing leaks, especially overnight. Nandini wakes up late in the morning and really tests this theory. She pays us back by not going to sleep until ten at night, but the almost 12 hours in one diaper is amazing.

Somehow, over the holidays our schedule has gotten even more hectic. Avinash had basically the entire month of December off and I was determined to keep them busy. We went everywhere from the museum, to the train, to the movies. Plus playdates, random 'snow days' with fake snow around Austin, and the State Capitol. I even took both of them on a plane by myself after Thanksgiving break.
Personally, I would rather be out with them, having adventures and making memories than sitting around home. (Though we did our share of that too). The best things I did were plan our outings to avoid traffic times, banish guilt about using the coffee place drive-thru as a substitute for packing snacks (a little bit of caffeine for mommy helps everybody too), and keep Nandini in Pamper's baby dry diapers during the day as well as night. We may not have had many 12+ hour outings, but we didn't have any leaks either. Let's just say that unless I have to, like really have to, she doesn't get changed until we get home. She is two, has a mind of her own and no little diaper changing table will hold her unless she agrees to it.
Of course when we took the north pole express train to see Santa, we were on board a train for hours with no stops. The bathroom was a glorified airplane stall. There was no changing table and I"m not even sure it would be physically possible to change her in there. Let's not even talk about how I had to take Avinash into his first port-a-potty at Trail of Lights in the park. I am so thankful he is a boy and that she is still in diapers right now at least.
I am also hosting a giveaway for one pack of Pampers diapers and wipes (I will mail you the certificate, so you can just pick up the type and size you need at your nearest CVS if you win).
