Holiday Magic | December Daily Day 12

Such a busy day.  Play practice. Gingerbread house making. Chess tournament. Dinner at the temple. We skipped our neighborhood holiday party at night and just went grocery shopping.

I did most of my design of these pages digitally with stamps and journaling cards.  I used the bottom half of this card from the cheer story kit and pasted my photo on top.  I have been using photoshop for digital stuff lately.

I worked on this page with Nandini.  She really wanted to use the red snowflakes.
We kept them as is and used them to take up a full 3x4 pocket on a divided page.  I added a little chipboard to both of the other 3x4 pockets.

I cut out this phrase shape from a Ali Edwards class with my silhouette.  I layered it on top of journaling card and stapled a star and sticker on top.  Lots of layers, but in pretty subtle colors.  I love green and pale aqua together.

Another digital stamp over a silly photo of Nandini.

I scattered stars across both sides.

I like how the red snowflakes go perfectly with his little red Santa suit.

I'm still learning the ropes with my new portrait lens.  I'm a total novice but I love the shots that I get with it.

I added another digital stamp to the edge of the photo.  I layered a big chipboard sticker over that.

The full spread all out of the album. Red, gold and stars.
